The only people who could compete in the Ancient games were the men of Greece. There were no medals awarded in the Ancient Olympics. There was only wan event in the Ancient Olympics called the stade, which was a running race. There are many remarkable facts about the Ancient Olympics.
Next, The Modern Olympics have changed the games in many different ways. There are several different kinds of Modern Olympic event such as the pentathlon, long jump, discus, javelin and lots more. The first Modern Olympics were held in Athens, Greece. The Modern Olympics were reinstated because not that many people showed up to the games and it was overshadowed by the world’s fair. Finally, ice hockey is a very popular sport in the U.S. Hockey is appealing to most people because they love to watch the hits and there is always action going on.
